Whats the 1-2 on these? Not used during running, but stuff like pull ups, jump rope and other short activities. I would also wear them all day. While i walk to my uni or whatever,etc...
I wont sleep in them though :p

thanks

i have heard that these are bad news. apparently they put excess stress on muscles joints and tendons and make you more prone to injury.

just walk faster!

NONONONONONONO! You can damage connective tissues in the knee...or elbows if you carry around bumbells.
Puts alot of strain on the joint,s tendons, tissues, and look wierd.
If you want to build more fitness...load up a backpack with more weight and carry that correctly instead.

How about a weight vest?

The thing is they are so expensive and the weight apparently is lead coated with a protective paint?
Anyone have any experience or suggestions. The vest is distributed over my entire upperbody. Where a backpack would hurt my back after a while. I'm also trying to train my legs more than anything.

Do some pool swimming.
Or running drills, polymetrics, lunges, frog hops will all strengthen your legs. Try doing lunges, frog hops, walking on heels, walking on toes, skipping for height, skipping for distance before or after an easy run. I like to do calf raise while I brush my teeth.

you're not a 60 year old grandma walking the town lake are you?

Just go to the gym, do a seat of curls and be done with it
