Has anyone seen or tried these? It stands for Masai Barefoot technology. These shoes are very strange looking, but they have a rounded sole and claim to force you into a "more erect, better- balanced posture that aligns the skeletal system properly, and takes the pressure off muscles and joints". Supposed to be more like walking barefoot. Well I tried on a pair at a shoe store this summer and while briefly walking around the store, I could feel a good little stretch in my hamstrings. I hadn't thought about them again since, until I saw them in a magazine this morning. Their concept seems goods, but the $245.00 price tag seems pretty steep. Although the sales person told me they do replace the soles if they wear out. Anyone out there tried these? Can you run in them?
