well I got into training about 5 months ago and this past weekend i did my first tri (oly), it was super hot and the bike course pretty much looked like a road racing course only hills and no flats, well i finished just under 3 hrs and had a lot of fun, I was a little disappointed about my time but according to a friend its pretty normal to have a bad time there because of the bike portion of the race, im hooked on this from now on. here are a few pics

Congrats on your first... great pics!

Don't look now, but I think someone is drafting off you in that last pic.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!! and welcome to the mad, mad world of Triathlon racing!!!!!!!!! I got hopelessly hooked in 03 after finishing my first ever Sprint distance Tri. Don't be alarmed if you crave for more, this stuff is addictive. Thanks for the pictures, it really looks like a beautiful place to race. Can you tell us where is it? In your profile says: "Location: Guatemala" Is this where you raced or where you live?

For some reason I haven´t been able to see your pics.... I´m guessing it´s a stupid restriction issue here at work.

Will check them tonight at home.
Great job on Amatique. I hope I can go next year.

Maybe I´ll get to know you nex tri season! Just checked out the results.. Bet you are Christian right? Age group 20-24??? The oficial results puts you 3 minutes over 3 hours!!! Don´t worry about it....I don´t know how many times my watch tells me a time at the end of a race just to later check the official results and see something weird happened.

Amatique is said to be the hardest tri in GT. Congratulations!

Hyperactive Trifueler!!!! (I refuse to let the status go :p)
