Well I'm thinking of moving to Fairfax Co. (the southern part). What are your guys favorite rides running routes?

I was thinking I would go exploring this weekend.

Sorry - pretty much know only DC and Arlington! Let us know what you find, though

Come to the less crowded, more fun, side of the river! Great places to run...good bike routes...

Where exactly is the southern part of fairfax county (would that be Springfield, Burke, etc?)? I know there is Lake Accotink in Fairfax county that has some great trail running around it. And Burke Lake has a trail system but I've never been on it or know anyone who has, so I can't say much about it. I think there is some good riding around Burke (know someone who lives there who rides on the weekends out there) with some rolling hills - hope this helps! Have fun!
