Well, I ran the last race of my season this morning. It's a bitter sweet day. It was a good season, with solid results. I was hoping for my first age group win, but didnt get that. I did run the sub 7:00 pace a couple times and broke a 22mph average on the bike.

However, my new MTB has been calling me and the dirt is so enticing. Theres a MTB race at one of my favorite trails in a few weeks, and I might give that a go. I look forward to the off season and the challenges and fun that await me.

So goodbye 2006 Tri season. We flirted with greatness, but many good relationships end, and a more adventurous spirit calls. Thanks for the good times.
