So far, I've been sitting around the house and playing with the dogs, surrounded by at least a foot of heavy, wet snow. If things clear up a bit later, I'm going to ride the fixie over to the pool and do 2000 yds or so.

Taper week leading into the Soma Half Iron this Sunday! Did 30min in the pool, 2050 yards, and have an easy 1/2 hour run later today. Had a sweet 1:30 ride yesterday at a nice aerobic 145 HR and a steady 22.4mph. Setting up well for the race. :)

I ran a grassy 9 miles in the brisk morning air. I know I won't get any sympathy from ANY of you......but 50 degrees is cold to us thin-bloods! I also added in a 5-minute and a 10-minute race pace pick-up (mostly to get my blood moving). Tapering for 70.3 W.C. and getting pumped :D

GOOD LUCK Red!!!!!

Spent about 2 hours studying muscles and nerves on a cadaver. Plan on spending that much again later today. Ironically i skipped my anatomy class to study anatomy!

Did 2500yrds in the pool and pry do that again with my tri team this evening.

Oh and it was tiramisu coffee today at my local coffee shop(YES!).

Hey BBB...
The back is maybe ..80% still have one more appointment with the chiro tomorrow and some massage to loosen it. Can't sit for too long...but that won't be a problem on Sunday! If I have to crawl, I'll do it...I made a promise to Lance Corporal James. Just hope to get through and heal more before the JFK 50 November 18.
Haven't run much the last two weeks but thank god for bikes!
