Race day breakfast
On a race day I like to have a bagel or cereal right when I get up (which is usually 3 hours prior to race start). Then about 15-20 minutes before the start I will have some kind of bar whether it be Power or Cliff... so much for the old adage about waiting 30 minutes after you eat to go swimming...
I bagel or bowl of oatmeal immediately after waking up.

Usually a bottle of Ultra Fuel or Cytomax 3-4 hours before the start. Clif bar on the way to the race and a GU a few minutes before the start.
And coffee, can't forget the coffee.
Race day- a bagel with peanut butter, sometimes I add jelly(2-3 hours prior). Cup of coffee(about 1 hour prior). And a banana(about 20-30 minutes prior).

Cliff Bar and coffee when I get up, a banana, and then a GU 15min before the start.

Of course it's 'effing hard, it's IRONMAN!
A cup of coffee and a bowl of multi-grain Cheerios (without milk) when I get up. Hammer Heed and a chocolate power bar an hour before the race.
I'm a little different. I can't eat the big breakfast like the big guys. I'd been struggling with nutritional and gut problems, sooo, for training and race-day, I don't begin fueling until 15 minutes into the bike. (I use only Hammer powder mixes...no gels or bars). I may take a swig from my bike bottle before I head to transition, but that's it. Seems to be working....plently of energy. The key is to eat properly the week of the race.

On Olys I usually have a bar for breakfast or something similar + I start siping down the first bottle of Powerbar Endurance or similar stuff.
For longer races I have gone with Ensure and 2 plain slices of bread + the bottle of powerbar endurance.
I don´t drink the powerbar right away....I take small drinks so I have the bottle with me when I eat, travel to the T1 and get the stuff ready.
Hyperactive Trifueler!!!! (I refuse to let the status go :p)
For me has to be at least 3 hours before the race to avoid bloating and distention...I go for toasts with jelly, some tea, and a bottle of Gatorade...
The I have 15 or 20 minutes before the start I usually get more water and my first gel of the day...
