well it has grown a little bit over the past year or so but its still pretty small, but the healthy lifestyle is starting to pick up here as it has in other places; so a lot of people are getting into it so my guess is that it will get bigger. and as for the races there is a series of races but by far the coolest one is one in this place called Peten (where survivor Guatemala took place) and its a half ironman distance one at around august or september if you ever wanna head down here check out the dates on guatetrifed.com
