Another Reason Why I Don't Like Starbucks
I always thought Starbucks coffe was a little bitter.
Maybe it comes from the disgruntled employees:D
Nothing to it, but to do it
That stinks...there's really no where else to get decent coffee here in Phoenix.
I ride my bike to work and no one has ever called me "unprofessional" even when I show up to a meeting all sweaty and with chain grease on my pant legs.

Starbucks is just Big -Box in a small package...
Go to locally owned coffee shops and support your local economy.

I second that.
Wow - I'm really surprised because Starbucks is always claiming it's for the environment, etc etc. I always try to go to a local shop but sometimes, Starbucks is the easiest since it's on about every corner in this area. If I have to choose a "big" name coffee shop, I go for Caribou Coffee over Starbucks - their coffee doesn't taste burnt either like Starbucks usually does.
I'm glad my work doesn't look down on my riding my bike to work, or riding at lunch, or running at lunch. There would be problems - I'd have to find a new job!
That is a very unfortunate story. I hope Starbucks responds appropriately to make ammends. I really enjoy riding my bike to work and encourage others to do the same.

No more Starbucks for me. I never drink their coffee anyway. Now I'll tell every biker I know to avoid the place too.

As most know I ride everywhere I can and here is something that makes me frown. I dislike Starbucks and now I have confirmed my dislike for them further. Thought I would post this.

It is interesting that they would deal with the situation like this. By the author:
"I decided to contact Ericson about her alleged remarks. She said it is against company policy to speak to any media directly and she referred me to a marketing person. I eventually ended up with an email from regional director Michelle Cain. Citing privacy concerns, she refused to address any of my questions about Fabian Mills."
Further:
Over 6,000 Portlanders from 550 companies took part in the BTA’s recent Bike Commute Challenge. Starbucks did not participate.
