I'm new to triathlons and was looking for a good tri magazine to subscribe to. What do you recommend? The only two I am aware of is Triathlete and Inside Triathlon.

I've been a little disappointed with Triathlete. Too many issues lately have been stapled together (i.e. they're too thin to have a real binding). Also, it has a yearly swimsuit issue, which I think is just plain silly.

I don't know anything about Inside Triathlon.

I prefer Inside Tri...
Triathlete just seems to be a big glossy mouthpiece for the WTC and folks who want us to buy their stuff....same repetitive articles... and "real" age groupers in a swimsuit issue...wow. (sarcasm)
Sort of like the difference between Runners World and Running Times.

Unfortunately there's really only the 2 mentioned, pick them both up and see which one suits you better before you subscribe.

Here's a couple of websites that fill in the gaps.

Happy reading.

I get them both. I agree Inside Tri is more focused on the age grouper while Triathlete is more mainstream and has been a little disappointing.

I read them both and it gets me into the tri mindset.
Of course that is why I am on trifuel all the time too :D

Nothing to it, but to do it
