Hi!

I'm currently 17 years old, studing in highschool. I've been to triathlon for about 8 years now, and though i'm pretty bored or stressed because of 2 times per day trainigs(it's only a problem at the end of the season, it's probably better after a little rest period), i haven't even thought about quitting.
As far as now, i've only done sprint distances and took part of a half ironman as a member of the team, running, but i guess IM should fit the best for me in the future, as i'm not a very strong swimmer.

Hope to find the site useful and have a bunch of new tri-mates,
Hans

Welcome!
Wish I was doing Tri's when I was in high school or even college or...well, we'll just leave it at that. It is great that you have a strong interest in this great sport. Like many of us here the swim was a challenge to overcome. Good luck on the IM goal.

Well, as i started training when i was something like 9 or 10, it' has affected my lifestyle quite a lot. I wouldn't say it's boring, as i just love Triathlon, and it doesn't stop me from being with friends or going to some parties sometimes. The only things missing from usual 17-year-old's life are drinking, which i don't think is too nessecary, and those parties, which i don't go too often, as i can't skip a training. I've had a new coach for about one year now, i haven't skipped one the entire time without a real good reason, like being ill.
