Log now includes RSS feeds
rcortesi posted 1 year ago.
Just remember that the RSS feed is driven off the sharing setting in your user profile.
If you don't have sharing enabled, then the log will not generate an RSS feed for your user ID (This keeps someone from reading your log if you don't want them too).
Also if the user's sharing setting is anything but "share with whole world" the URL for the RSS feed is a little more complicated than the one tribro listed above.
So to get it correct everytime, get the link from the view others page.

Hey gang,
Roger has been working on some enhancements for the log and just released RSS feeds. So if you have a feed reader you can now get feeds of your or other members log entries.
To access, the log whose feed you want to grab needs to be set to 'shared' so it's accessible through the view shared page within the log.
Two ways to grab the RSS feed:
http://www.trifuel.com/log/rss.php?au=2
This is my RSS feed. Change the '2' to the userid you want to grab.
or
Goto the view shared page: http://www.trifuel.com/log/view_others.php and select the user in the drop down menu. Then click on the RSS button displayed above the users entries.
I'm looking into creating a script to convert these to javascript so you can paste into your blogs as well.
Thanks Roger, this is cool!
