Well, I don't usually let others post threads to promote their websites, etc. But... I guess one of the perks of running Trifuel is I can break the rules :)

So, I've been working on another project that is inspired by the Digg and Newsvine concept of user powered content. I've been finding it more difficult to keep up with and post the latest news and info on our sport and wanted to create a resource that would allow anybody the ability to post links to stories from any site around the web and then members can discuss and add relevant ones to a list of their favorites.

So I just pre-launched a very simple version of this type of a site over at Feedstoke.

Basically it's an easy way to share, discuss, and track research and news for the sports and activities that keep us stoked. So, it's a site that will go beyond Triathlon to include AR, Climbing, Running, Cycling, etc... and other sports and activities you guys want to share.

I have other projects I'll be working on this Fall as well. Probably an enhanced version of Trifuel and an improved version of the blog aggregator.

Ya, exactly. Lots of cool sites that those are getting popular, but most are very tech news oriented. Newsvine a little less so because they feed in AP news, but all have next to nothing when it comes to endurance or outdoor fringe sports. Saw some cycling during the Tour but that's pretty much been it. So thought the concept might work for us athletes who are always looking for training, research, and new activities to try.

There are so many local coaches, events, athletes around the globe that have good information to share, I thought this might be a good way to bring it all together.

Tribro - Had a problem setting up an account over there. It created the account ('RV') but I was not able to put in a password. I requested that one be sent to me yesterday, but never received it.

I just sent you an email.

Did you get any emails from the site? It should send over an email when you first sign up with a temp password. Then using that you can go in and set a password to what you like. Maybe that email went to your junk/spam folder? For some reason there is an issue where it doesn't include a from in the email so it might be assumed spam?

Got it. - Previously, did not receive any - nothing showed up even under the spam filter. I was able to reset the password and all now. Thanks!
