I am looking to pick up a set of tri spoke wheels but does anyone know where I can get a magnet that will attach so I can still get a speed read out?

Probably a silly question but I don't know where to get it.

Some have built-in magnets. If they don't, good luck fitting one. ;)

That is exactly what I need. Can't believe I didn't see those when I was on that website earlier. Thanks!

I have HED-3s and I queried HED about how to attach my magnet, and they sent me some epoxy for free. It has been on for 2 years now.

How have those wheels worked for you? Do you ride with them in both the front and back? Tubes or Clinchers? Do you just use them for races?

Any feedback would be great, thanks!

I have them both front and rear. Clinchers. I ride them for training and races. I love them. Very durable. I recommend them highly. Do have to be aware of strong cross breezes, but not difficult to control.

I am looking at the tubulars for races and some training. The back disc seems great but there are too many types of races where a disc would not work but tri-spokes seem to be fast for almost any event.

The tubulars are a bit lighter/faster. I went with clinchers just for ease. A disc is nice but like you said not appropriate for all conditions. I have ridden my HEDs in all wind conditions. They are a fast wheel and stable. That is why I went with the tri-spoke front and rear.
