Anybody know if one pull buoy works better than another?

I'm a 225 lb. Clydesdale and have a Tyr right now and feel like it might be too small, but the Speedo looks like it's bigger and more boyant, and Zura also makes one that looks good?

Any help or feedback?

I think any of them would be fine. Don't get too dependent on them! I just use one from time to time to simulate the change in position that I get when I wear my wetsuit.

yeah, I don't like them either. It seems like its almost as much physical effort, and more mental effort just to hold the buoy in place, that it does just to lean forward and kick a little.

They are useful for practcing long glides between strokes and alternate breathing as they keep your hips from sinking. Use them for 20 min in the middle of an hour workout and you can take the feel you get and apply to actual swimming. The brand is meaningless. I use a Tyre.
