Sweet! nice race and congrats. Ya, I think people who aren't a part of something like this (whether website or physical club or the like) are really missing out. I know the members here have directly and indirectly (through the posts and blogs) helped me through my training and especially through my first Ironman. I don't think I could have done it without a support group I've found here. So thanks again Team Trifuel!
Trifuel is an awesome site and has lots of info and it is like a supportive family.
It has given me some motivation and a forum to get help and help others.
I have met some Trifuelers from the site and now have some friends I would not have had before.
When can we have a family get together Tribro? :D
Nothing to it, but to do it
Ya, family get together sounds cool. I'd like to have something like that. Maybe (un)official trifuel get-together races or maybe a training camp/get-together. I know there is a good group going to IMWI and IMC next year. Maybe those are good East/West coast Ironman gatherings?
I'm also going to try and do Pacific Crest Half and Vineman. Maybe those could be additional West coast gatherings. Pacific Crest also has sprint and olympic distances as well as running events, those that could be a good option for all athlete focuses.
Maybe a Trifuel camp here in Bend? A few days in the spring when we can get together to ride the mountains, open swims in some the lakes around here and do some great trail runs.
Any suggestions? What other races are popular for you guys in other areas of the US, or world for that matter.
There were several of us at the Disney Marathon weekend last year and I know a few will repeat.
I try and meet Trifuelers at events if possible.
It was great to meet other Trifuelers
Some of the events you mentioned might be good for meeting up as well.
Maybe start a list of who is interested and some events they might be doing and try and find a common denominator.
I like the idea of a long weekend/training camp/reunion thing
Maybe make it a sticky thread or poll??:D

Family get together...I like it!
Should have a roll call for IMLP, too, to see how big that mob will be ( I know of three)
A Camp would be good...especially if we can camp on Dad's floor ,stay up all night and tell tri-lies! ;)
I know a good group will be at Disney this year...kilts and all.

So the kilt thing is a definite?
I'll get mine soon.
I am not doing IMLP next year but I am close so I might go up to volunteer.

For me it´s a little more difficult but if we plan with enough time I would love to travel and do a race with you guys!
Hyperactive Trifueler!!!! (I refuse to let the status go :p)
Trifuelers were the inspiration I needed to stop thinking about training for a half IM and an IM and actually do it. Therefore I will also be at Pacific Crest next year and IMC to sign up for 2008.
I think a training camp is a fabulous idea. And if there's not enough room on Dad's floor, we could rent a condo for the rest of us and still have a Trifuel slumber party.
Thanks Team Trifuel!
(maybe the new Trifuel swag could say Team Trifuel.....)

I hope this isn't a elaborate, nefarious plot by the 'TGGW' to ambush me and shave my legs..
I'll be on the lookout for chocolate GU and Cool whip!:D
Yay! Trifuel slumber party!!
and maybe some training too

Yes Scott... the kilt is a must even though it will slow us up a bit, but no more than having to pee every 5 minutes last year!
What Tartan, or did you go camo?
Scott, ya need to come up and Vol for IMLP...it's too cool.

the sport kilt website didn't have my family tartans available, so I am looking around for them. Or I could go for just the universal.
I have to check my vacation schedule but I should be available to Vol for IMLP:D

If there is enough time and my traveling plans are still on the air that there is a chance I could go too :)
