A brick is doing one workout right after the other. For example, biking a certain distance then hopping off the bike and start running. Or, swimming for a while then immediately hop on the bike and bike for a while.

Basically two different workouts back to back without any rest in between them.

I used to wonder what this was too. I never asked because i thought it'd sound stupid. then one day i went running straight after a long cycle, and i said to myself "god, my legs feel like bricks...." then it clicked with me!

Sometimes...it's how you feel after that sort of workout...like you've been hit with bricks!
On a training schedule they come at certain times, and are quite effective as break through workouts.
Too many bricks can trash a season.
Many folks will do transition run after a bike...usually no more than 15 to 40 minutes done easy.
Don't confuse these with bricks. They are two different workouts.
And remember...there are no stupid questions here at trifuel...although you will get more than your share of silly answers.

I don't always provide silly answers!! :D

As far as bricks go...
They get your legs used to run after a bike.

Nothing to it, but to do it
