Boston Swimming?

Hmmm I don't know about pools since I can just swim at the pool at school, but I do know that while its still reasonably warm, lots of triathletes bike out to Walden pond in Concord and swim there....

I don't have much advice for you but I wanted to say hi because I moved to Boston from Missoula a year ago. A big change, I'm sure you've realized. Good luck with the transition! Where are you from in MT?
I swim at the local Y and there are masters swims at almost every pool you can find! As the other poster said, Walden pond seems like the place to train if you're a triathlete in Boston.

Hey Donna,
Moved from Whitefish. Thanks for the advice. I've been talking to the kids from school too, New England College of Optometry, and they have all pretty much have said the Y is the best place to go swimming. I actually moved out of the city because I was a little nervous about moving right into the city. I live like two blocks from the beach and love it. Maybe I'll see you at the Y on a chilly morning. Good luck with your training and racing
