As they say on the site-

"A man in a kilt, is man and a half"

Come on down to Disney to see me and Anton Running for 3 days in kilts. :D

I guess if we do that then,
2 of us in kilts, each being a man and a half = 3 men.
Does that mean we have to pay an extra race fee??

Pretty sure that is a visual that I wouldn't want! :eek: Especially depends how authentic you plan to be i.e "just" wearing the kilt - and also how windy!

Be careful Disney just may charge you the extra fee!

Last year it was 34 degrees at the start so if I wear nothing underneath, there might be nothing underneath :eek:

Sounds like a little personal issue.

34 degrees with nothing under that kilt could turn
"a man and a half" into 1/2 a man!!
Not to mention the support issues :eek:

(High pitched voice) I dunno..it was pretty cold last year to go commando in a kilt! (end high pitched voice.)
I've done a few short races in mine and love it. My babe loves it...
So...Warm=Commando
Cold= wind brief
Mines an Irish kilt by the way...My grandmother being born and raised in county Wicklow.

I need to locate a tartan for either Fleming(the Irish side) or for McEntee (the Scottish side).

Preferably in a wicking material :D

it sounds like you should go traditional for the wool fibers
sport kilt may be better saved for warmer days

My running club is sponsored by Sport Kilts. They are pretty kicka$$! Every fall we have a kilt run and following every run all the guys change into their kilts and grab some coffee.
