Does anyone know of a swim coach who will do private lessons in the Reno, NV/ Lake Tahoe area?

I've looked online and can't find anything. There's no masters swim in my immediate area and the Reno one doesn't fit my available time.

I've tried the TI DVD. It helped some. Unfortunately, I'm not someone who can watch a DVD and then go out and do it. I need someone to watch me and instruct.

Thanks,
skeats

Skeats is there a pool there that could be used. I could not find a civic pool there on the swim pool guide http://www.swimmersguide.com/

Did find this pool but schedule does not look very good. http://www.recreationintahoe.com/aquatics.htm

Thanks for the links.

I have pool access near my house. It's the coaching that I'm after.

Yes I understand but what is the town you live in? You say metro Reno but it could also include Lake Tahoe.

What other towns are close by? I can't search for a close by coach if I don't have a clue were you live. You may have to drive 50 miles to find a coach. Do you need a coach every day?

I coach someone who lives in Belgium that I have never met or seen in person who dropped 19 min in his 5k swim in six months.

We talk once a week on the internet and I lay out his workouts. I have seen him swim only on video. He sent me three 10 sec videos from 3 angles.

I will be passing close by when I head to Mexico for the winter swim clinics, I could stop by for a couple of days.

The Xterra thing looks interesting. Thanks for looking into it for me.
