Food For Thought..well milk
Good article. Just points out the crazy paranoia some people have about organic foods. Its apparently not justifiable in this case.
Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.
Well, I don't think the article makes any conclusions at all, TriGuy. That conclusion you make is not reasonable at all and to call it crazy paranoia is equally uninformed. I buy organic for the most part, I find the prices are usually comparable to non-organic. I can tell you without a doubt that organic meats taste muchj better, especially chicken.
Buit that article is very open as is the science behind any benefits or not. I buy organic 'cause you know what, it can't hurt, doesn't cost much more, and the basic premise makes sense. Crazy paranoia, I think not.

Of course it's 'effing hard, it's IRONMAN!
With all due respect I will put it as a trend....organic...natural...and all that.
It's true that some organic stuff taste different..better..maybe...but I would say that the price is a difference.
Now, scientifically I agree with Red5, that the article is very open, I think is good, but I am sure, that in a matter of months there is going to be more stuff to read and compare.

While I'm not going to jump full in on the organic debate, I'll state that I go organic for environmental and personal health reasons, because I have felt better digestive-wise and training-wise since switching to mostly organic foods. (my doctors suggested that I may be allergic or intolerant of some of the pesticides commonly used)
I do want to say that I grew up drinking organic milk and when switching to the non-organic variety for money reasons when I was a broke college studet, I did notice that there is a significant taste difference and that it doesn't last as long as organic milk. Just my two cents for those thinking about switching from one to another.
