Never Look Back
Keep forging ahead. Sorry to hear you've run into some bad times, but I think you're getting into the right frame of mind. Don't lok back, keep moving forward. You'll find happiness in whatever you decide to do, even if you forget us triathletes for mtn bikers :) Though I like to do both!
Good luck tomorrow and the days after.
Pain and suffering are inevitable Blitz, but misery is an option.
Glad to know you are still around...
Kick ass tomorrow!

Hi everyone, thanks for your support. I had a wierd day. I got up at the crack of dawn, ready to go for it, and I drove the long distance to the inner part of Switzerland and arrived at the lake and no one was there!!!! All tris are on Sunday here early in the morning to avoid traffic, and this one was on Saturday and I didn't check this. It was raining and cold and I was so angry with myself, so I did a tri anyway. I couldn't judge the swim distance so I just swam for a 1/2 hour, road around the lake twice, and ran around it for punishment. So I was the winner of the day. In the afternoon, I met a coach that I am making a business deal with, and we went running. I nearly died. But I feel somehow better inside. I will try to do a tri next Sunday in Uster. This will be harder but I am sure I can manage it. Then I will see if I am going to stick with it.
Thanks all for your support.
Anton, can you run that by me one more time?

Great to hear you went out and did your own tri anyway, it definitely made me smile :)
matthew seymour? from hawaii?
Thanks everyone, for everything. I will definitely check the next schedule.
Marzian, yes it is matt from Hawaii. He is way cool, and he was my model for a major scale advertising campaign I did. He is here now in Switzerland for the U23. I wanted to have him stay with us, but now my flat is too small. He gives good advice doesn't he. Never look back.

Hi guys,
I was reading what Matthew Seymour, an Olympic Tri Team Member once said. When his rival asked as they got out of the water, "Is he right behind us?" (referring to the 3rd favorite of the day) and Matthew said "I never look back."
It has been a hard time for me, trying to find joy in triathloning, and even opening a business to be disappointed by my IM spouse and in the end left for another IM lady. It was hurtful, and I don't want to empty my emotions all over the trifuel. But I have many friends in here, and I just wanted them to know why I disappeared. I didn't train very hard, or just when I was very angry. I've moved out and am starting over. I began training slowly but lost 9 kg. Lots of it muscles.
I work the tris now at my stand, selling my American product, and watch the ladies kiss their men goodbye at the start, and cry sometimes (always discreetly), especially when I worked the tris that we did together. Swearing that I will go work with the Mountain bikers next year and screw the anal triathletes.
Suddenly for reasons I do not understand I got a burning sensation to go do a tri tomorrow. I am so excited! I packed my things pumped my tiers loaded the car and I know it will rain and be cold, but I don't care. I just want to fly, and fight fight fight. I just want to stand up and fight back. So I will not look back, just forward and perhaps I will stay with it. I've missed many of you in here and I will log in tomorrow and let you know if I survived.
Your Trifuel friend from Switzerland, Blitz
