Need wetsuit advice
mdd posted 2 years ago.
Put Bodyglide on your legs before you put on the suit. That will help you get the suit off much faster during T1. Also water IS going to get into your suit while you swim so do not be alarmed. The suit does need to be very tight to work correctly but maybe your suit is a bit too tight although it is hard to say without seeing it. It might be worth having someone who is experienced in triathlon take a look and give you their opinion. One last thing, put some Bodyglide around your neck and around your arm pits or the suit will rub you raw while you swim.
Have fun and good luck!

I bought 2 QR sleeveless suits. Mens small, and medium small.
Though the chart says S is my size, it is super tight and difficult to get zipped, even with help. The neck feels like it is too tight-bordering on choking.
The MS goes on well, except a slight space forms in the armpit border when I move. Will water getting in be a problem?
What's better, super tight and very uncomfortable, or comfort with less form fitting and aero dynamics?
Also, any tricks for quick removal? They both took a while to take off my lower legs. Thanks for helping a beginner!
