Just seeing how everyone one here does their rolling dismounts. I've never tried one during a race for fear of causing a "flying dismount" . I know their are a few different ways of doing them. What works for you?

I'll do a "flying" dismount - but not the mount.
I simply pull my feet out of my shoes and ride up to the dismount area with feet on top of shoes. Then just swing my right leg over and step off of the other pedal (left) on the run. Hold the saddle with my right hand and run through transition.
How ever you do it make sure you practice it several times first and also scope out the dismount area and the route leading up to it so you know what to expect.

Unvelcro your shoes, putting your feet on top of your shoes, as you approach dismount line lift right foot and place it on top/across top tube. As you hold onto the bike slide your right foot to the ground and start running. Be sure you slow down some before gettig to the dismount line, you don't want to be going 20 mph, since unless you're Michael Johnson you can't run that fast :-)

I've got a long run ahead of me usually after the bike, I'd like to do it with no road rash. Call me boring but I opt for the stop then get off dismount.

Ah yes, transition. The fourth discipline of tirathlon. i just get my feet out of my shoes and swin my leg over and jump off the back holding the saddle.Just like RV said. hurts your feet to begin with. try it on grass first.
