What do you listen to while relaxing?

Is there any particular style or artist that you listen to to relax at the end of the day? or to inspire you? I just picked up that new Edie Brickell and New Bohemians album last week from a buddy at work (UMGD). I really enjoy it and its what I listen to... Have you heard it? What do you think?

As I am a classical pianist I usually listen to a lot of classical music and jazz. But not for relaxing.

Kind of off-topic but: I get kind of angry at these "I like classical music. It's so relaxing" attitude. Go listen Stravinsky, then!

For relaxing I usually sleep!

I have Sirius satelite radio, and I love the "Spa 73" channel....its non-stop music that you'd hear while you're getting a massage. Very calming, instrumental, nature sounds, etc. I usually listen to it while I drive in this stinkin' traffic, and it really helps me breathe deeply and relax.

Nothing beats Jack Johnson for chilling out.

Brian Eno - Ambient Volume 1, Music for Airports. If that doesn't chill you out, nothing will!

Bloody hell! I thought I was the only person who listened to Eno!
Still have his stuff on those big black round things. For relaxing,
other than Eno...King Crimson, Adrian Belew, Michael Manring, Michael Hedges. Enya.

Before I went back to school, I played records at clubs, so I have a ton of those big black round things; everything from Talking Heads to Don McClean to John Digweed. It took me forever just to find Eno on CD. Those plates you have are priceless!

Another suggestion: Boards of Canada

Oh, and "Discreet Music", my first Eno disc from the early 80's..
All downloadable now, of course...once in awhile I pull out "Woodstock" just to listen to the pop and hiss and hear Sly Stone before he got all...confused.

I forgot there even was relaxing music I am always into some fast or heavy music: Three Days Grace, Chevelle, Offspring, Godsmack, Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed.

I guess if I am trying to calm down some audioslave is always good...
