Resistance training is good. Not unlike a pull-buoy maybe.
See the TdF time trialists wearing a million-dollars worth of R&D designed skinsuits and watch the TdF officials slap these little sticky drag-chutes on their backs called "race numbers" so we can readily identify them and won't get confused, despite the team car driving 10 metres behind them with their name on the front two metres wide!

so i was swimming out at the lake today and at about a half mile i zoned out and started thinking about the tri shorts that i was wearing. they are saucony shorts with a pocket for gels, food, or whatever in the back. the pocket doesn't have a zipper so it stays open all the tiime. do you guys think that this pocket could be producing drag while swimming? maybe that is a stupid Q, but i thought i'd ask.
