Depending on which airline you travel with (and their respective alliance partner) there will most likely be a special baggage area. They are very used to people coming from around the world for skiing/snowboarding etc and I doubt you will have any issues. Check with your airline to be sure it will be handled as special baggage else it will end up on the carousel wiht the suitcases.

Is it at the common baggage carousels or is there a special area
for bulky luggage to pick it up ?
