I was wondering if anyone has tried out the Bodyglide with the SPF sunscreen added into it? How well has it worked? How light or dark is your skin??? Thanks for your help.

I use bodyglide but would not use it in lieu of sunscreen, I think its intention is to provide sunscreen to the areas that chafe that may be exposed to the sun not your whole body.

At the local LRS the Body Glide with SPF sits there, while the regular Body Glide zips off the shelf.
I think the prevailing feeling is..."If I put body glide on parts of my body that never see the sun...why do I need spf?"
I have to agree...it's not for the whole body...look for a goodsport sunscreen instead.

We can´t get bodyglide here in Guatemala so we buy it every time me or my wife fly to the states...

We have allways bought the one with spf but we did it with out giving it much thought!

I agree with everybody else that it is a bit stupid.

i bought it because that's what they had stocked.

it does it's body glide thing just fine, but the spf I have no idea because I put on sunscreen way before bodyglide

one thing i noticed though is that its smell lingers in cotton t-shirts that i put on after racing. a normal washing machine wash doesn't get the stink out.

is this true of regular bodyglide?

I have never noticed a smell associated with normal bodyglide. I guess I will just stick with regular bodyglide, especially since the SPF is about $1 more at the stores that carry it. I just thought I would solve two problems with one product.

I always wondered if you put the bodyglide with spf on and it was different strength than your normal SPF would you get kooky streaks of tan??

you'd probably have to be in a truly frying sun to see the differences...

let us know what you discover ;)

I used body glide with SPF25 on a 40 mile ride 3 weeks ago down at the beach. It worked just fine I didn't get burnt at all and believe me I am really prone to the lobster tan...
