...idiot. I don't think he understands the kind of following Landis has/had created before last thursday. Perhaps the steriod rings of baseball have clouded his mind, considering the three sluggers to break roger maris's record (McGuire, Sosa, and Bonds) have all shown that they cheated (McGuire-Drugs, Sosa- Drugs/Corked Bat, Bonds- STERIODS).

I read that too and really could not see the point of his article. Just being paid to say something different, I suppose. Question: by his logic, would he have also said that we should not have cared about Rosie Ruiz cheating to win a marathon by jumping in at the last mile beacuse running is not a major TV sport?

(Of course, I'm still agnostic on whether or not F.L. cheated for all the reasons we discussed in the other thread.)

"""Someone posted your article on a Cycling forum. Well, I have no idea who you are. You are just as unimportant to me as you portray Landis is to the main stream. Except for a small percentage of people that follow sports enough to read you articles on ESPN.c0m you are pretty much a zero. You provide some words as to which your employers don't even care about. They are just selling advertising. Keep it up monkey. Keep on making the man money. Landis how ever will have his name forever in the record books. With or without an asterisk. That is more than you will ever have.

CHEERS !

Where does he get off saying that Sample B willmost likely come back positive as well? That is exactly what Landis asked the media not to do in his press conference from Madrid on Friday- consider him guilty until he's had a chance to prove himself.

In all that I have read and heard, steroids are not something you take one day do better the next. And Floyd had 6 other negative tests during the Tour and 14 negative samples in the season prior to the Tour. So really, with regular piss tests, the pre-tour doping scandel and the total absence of immediate performance-enhancing benefits, why on earth would he juice up after Stage 16 to do better on Stage 17???? It makes zero sense!

In my book- he's innocent until absolutely, beyond a shadow of a doubt proven guilty by real science, not junk science.
