Hello there,
I am training for my first triathlon in August and need help from any females out there who might have some advice of what to wear if you need a lot of support. I'm a nursing mama who usually runs in two sports bras...so you get the picture. Should I just swim in my sports bras under my suit? Try and quickly change once I am out??? Or is there something out there that would work better? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I would probably wear a quick drying jog bra under a tri top that has a built in bra--- just keep it on for hte whle race.

That's what I did in my last race and it worked fine for me. You can even wear both your sports bra if that will make you feel most comfortable.

I have found the Sugoi Turbo Tri top and the other sugoi tri tanks have very supportive built in bras, not your normal flimsy built in; so they might be worth a try.

I have a couple of those and they work great for me. I cannot say I ever was nursing and competing though.

I had the same concern for my first tri. I am a DD, so need the support. I wore my Enell bra during the entire race and it worked out just fine. Basically just wear your sport bra(s) (non-cotton) during the entire race. Good luck with your first race! :)

Thanks for all the great advice. I am sure one of these will work for me. (I had been trying to put one on quickly and descreetly in some sort of Houdinni-like way during my "practice-days"....needless to say, it wasn't working out!)

the only bra there is the Enell bra you can find it at Enell.com or Title9.com calls it the last resort bra. This is what I wore for the entire IM Moo last year. I WAS a 34 DDD+++. I am a lot smaller now due to surgery and I still wear this bra. If you are inbetween sizes go for the smalller one (you can always leave the bottom hook undone).
