I finally got my new ORBEA ORDU...and its hot! (sorry about he poor quality). Its funny what: the right size, the right position, and the right saddle can do for a long ride. After four years of long painful rides (including four 1/2 IM's and an IM), the right setup rocks. I feel like I upgraded from a Honda to a Jaguar! I'm riding over a mile an hour faster than on my previous bike...either its the setup, or I'm just really excited :p

I can thank FLORIDA BICYCLE SPORTS in St. Pete for their awesome recommendation and the time they take to make sure my position is correct and feeling good! They're AWESOME!

sweet ride. does the saddle really have a curve like that in the nose or is that a picture quality thing? Looks very futuristic :)

its the SMP Strike saddle , it is awesome! the long hole and bent nose allows blood flow in the genitals. check it out at http://www.sellesmp.com/en/default.htm. after too many painful rides, this is a relief! anyone who has the smashing and pain in the saddle should give it a try.

Congrats! I also got a new ride! I just finished building up my first tri-bike over the last few months (a lot of eBay-ing for parts) and recently used it on my first Oly race!:D

Orbea makes a great bike I hear...
Glad you've seen immediate improvement (even if it is psychological)

Dear Star...
What kind of mounting bracket do you have behind your saddle?
I'm having a hard time locating such an item as tri is not very popular here in Malaysia and equipment is very limited..
Strange, we host the Langkawi IM every year....

snaxen: the bottle cage is a Minoura...you can find it on their website at http://www.minoura.co.jp/acc-e.html Its the SBH-300 - Dual Bottle Cage Holder.

I'm LOVING my new ride...this setup is really worth the buck!

I saw that seat a few times, is it comfortable? It looks like there is hardly any seat there

Hey Red Devil!

Yes, the saddle is AWESOME! it is the SMP Strike women's version...there is a men's version, as well as a race version. both are harder than this one. i'm SO happy with it....its made a HUGE difference down there;)
