Leg pain changing, but not gone...

Go to a sports med doc. I could tell you that it's ITBS or torm meniscus, but I am unsure (and you didn't give a great description of where it is). One check for ITBS is to stand with your legs in a locked position (like you were doing a standing hamstring stretch) and look at the outside of your knee directly parallel to your knee. If the affected side is "buldging"/inflammed that it is almost certain than you hve ITBS. I have ITBS right now, that's how I know. Your best bet is to go to the Doc and get it checked out.

Hi guys and gals,
I've been dealing with pain in one knee related to running all season. It comes on during my run at about mile 6 and just gets worse. I just got fitted for some new shoes--they put me in stability shoes and before I was in somewhat more flexible shoes. Anyway, now the pain has moved from the knee to the back of the knee, especially on the back outside part around my knee. Is this part of the hamstring or something else? It still comes on during the run as before. I don't think the traditional hamstring stretches help it much. Any advice? Thanks!
