Hey guys

I have been swimming in a older (about 7 years) rip curl surf suit (ultimate elasto 3/2 full for anyone familiar).

I usually finish pretty well in my swims (30:24 2K at peterborough half)

What I was wondering is if anyone has made the move from a surf suit to a tri suit and noticed a difference ? Is it worth the investment in a tri suit and if so at what price level ?

much appreaciated :)

PS finished in 4:54:20 at the half ! and it was hot like crazy on the run. First half and soooo stoked !

I switched from a surf suit and noticed a HUGE difference in not only shoulder movement, but warmth in the winter months and just how I felt after the swim and your legs will probably feel as though they float better too. I just went with the Ironman instinct full suit (least expensive one I could find) on sale online after trying them on. I don't know how much difference the higher end ones make after that, but I'm glad I switched to a tri suit.
