Just got a sample of it in my race packet, anybody try it out in race or training? Opinions?

I've tried it and liked it... not sure how much of a benefit, as lately any liquid seems awesome. But if I remember right it was pretty good. I'm looking more at Nuun now, but I might be biased as one of my favorite adventure race teams is sponsored by them.

I had a good experience with Gatorade Endurance. I used it exclusively for training this season in place of the more expensive Accelerade. I have noticed no differnce in my endurance level between the two product. Plus, Gatorade tastes pretty good (much better than Accelerade). As a final advantage, you'll find that it is the aid station drink at many races, so you'll have good handle on how your body performs on that particular beverage. Not mention, the weight you can save not carrying 9 lbs. of something else!

I like it too... I like that the additional sodium cut the "sweet" taste that normal gatorade has...

Im a salty sweater and it has greatly improved my ability to train for longer periods of time..

Yeah, and Gatorade Endurance makes your sweat salinity (sp) toxic! I can taste the difference when I get a few drops that roll into my mouth.

I thought it was pretty good.

Anyone tried the new PowerGel with 4x Sodium?
Sure makes you chug some water after it - which is a good thing. It wasn't bad - just surprised me a bit the first time I used it.

I've gotten numerous free samples and am definitely a fan as opposed to regular gatorade, although I haven't been able to get the mixing right when using the powder packets (the premade liquid is pretty good). My first line of thinking when I tried it was that it tasted really familiar, but I couldn't quite place it. I drank it during my one of my 20-mile marathon training runs and about half-way through realized that it tasted like sweat; actually like margarita flavored sweat! Pretty good considering that's what its supposed to be replacing.
