motivated but no energy
If I have no energy. I don't train. There's no point. In my case, it is lack of sleep 90% of the time, so I take out the two hour workout, and get two more hours of sleep. The next day I attack my workout like a man possesed.
If I'm still crummy in the morning, I'll make it an easy week and cut workouts and add sleep until it turns around. That only happens on rare occasions.
There are probably a million threads on overtraining. It sounds like you've got a classic case. Sometimes its just a mental game, but if you really can't turn it out .. take a breather.
I agree with Beldrueger....if you find yourself with lack of energy...take a day or two off...just relax....give your muscles and mind a break...and you´ll see the difference...
Missing a couple of days of trainnings...is no big deal...and you´ll comeback stronger....

I am 3 weeks out from my event, Vineman Ironman 70.3 and I feel like I have hit the wall with my training. My training has gone very well thus far with few missed trainings. My diet is right on and I do have balance in my life with work, training and fun!! Has anyone out there ever felt this way? If so, what did you do? Do I take a few extra days off or do I push through it?
