So do any of you ever get sore legs or just random aches in your legs?
I have herd that it can be a result of over training but i am not doing much at all by previous season standards they are like phantom pains(yes i know these are associated with loast limbs) but my quads particularly always seem sore. any advice?

If you are constantly sore I would probably argue that you are overtraining. I did my long bike yesterday but my legs feel pretty good today. I'm sure I'll feel the effects when I do my long run later today, but they are not actively sore. I generally train 6 days a week, and I know a rule of thumb in weight lifting is to avoid injury you should never train if you are still sore from the previous workout. In my experience if I keep pushing while sore it does increase the chance of injury, and its normally the result of pushing beyond my training program over the last couple of days anyways.

I think the best thing about triathlons is that it has taught me to really really listen to my body. "Looseness" is ok. Soreness is generally your body telling you to slow down a little bit.
