Is this training plan alright?

I'm only training for olympic distance, so please excuse my short training times/distances

Monday: Long bike, brick run (~45 mi bike, 30 min run)

Tuesday: Easy run AM (30 min), Easy bike PM (25 mi)

Wednesday: Bike hills, swim workout (~1500 yards)

Thursday: Bike easy AM (25 mi), Long run PM (45 min)

Friday: Long bike (~45 mi), easy brick (15 min)

Saturday: Easy bike AM, Long run or workout/tempo run PM

Sunday: Swim workout (~1500 yards)

I don't want to do more than two bricks (one long, one shorter) per week to keep the legs fresh.

How's this sound?

I guess you've got to increase/decrease volume/intensity over time to get fitter and faster. Is that a build phase only plan?

I plan on increasing the runs by 5 min. every two weeks, until my long run is around 1:15 or 1:20.

I don't have a coach, and am just sort of basing this off the knowledge I've scraped from forums and from past sports like swimming and cross country.

Is this a lot less than most people do or something?

Why don't you give a look on some other oly training plans?

Have a look:

By looking at it, I guess your plan is ok. I actually thought you'd have to get a bigger volume for an oly.

I doubt that many Oly-only racers do more than this, except for the pros. I've definitely done less volume to train for Oly races (more like the plan ggalvao linked to), but our goals may be different. 2 things do jump out:

1. 6 days a week on the bike is a lot. I wonder whether you can get more or less the same training benefits in 5 bike workouts as 6.
2. Getting a single day of rest may benefit you more than going 7 days a week. Maybe switch that Sunday swim workout to another day, drop 1 of the bike workouts, and take 1 day a week to rest, stretch & recover. On that same thought, consider doing every 4th week as a recovery week--lower the volume on the long ride and run, and maybe even take a second rest day.

The first thing that jumps out, that I would change, are your swims. For a race that has a 1500M swim, you'll want more swim time, with a decent warmup before getting into your main set.
