Belly breathing?

You should "belly breathe" when you are sitting in the office or watching TV. You should also practice breathing exercises - great for stress reduction and controlling blood pressure. If you always belly breathe - then that should carry over to exercise. You may want to focus on it some while running or biking though.
I think a great CD is "Breathing" by Dr. Andrew Weil. Fantastic introduction to pranayama (sp?) which is breathing practice.

I always belly breathe but it's a normal thing for me. I don't actually have to think myself 'do it'.

Do you "belly" breathe? If so, when? On the swim? bike? run?
If yes, then why is belly breathing a good thing? (I'm not really sure how many other types of breathing there are)
