Did Eagleman today and when I was on mile 2 of the run, Natascha Badmann was on her way in. It was just the 2 of us on this one stretch of the road and I pointed at her and was like "YEAAAAAAAAAH!" Then as she ran by, the Queen of the Lava high-fived me.

Sa-weet.

Very cool. She's awesome, always a smile and supporting the age groupers. Very down to earth.

That's awesome. I love the pros in this sport.

I did a race in Buffalo MN last week Sunday. Natasha was there. She finished the OLY at the very same time I finished the Sprint! Although she did have a 26 minute head start! She seemed super cool. My girlfriend, who is an elite athlete, spent some time chatting with her. She thought she was very nice.

What other sport do you get to meet and race with the pros? All of the pros that I have personally met were very open and friendly. Maybe since they don't make the 10's of millions like some other sports, they stay pretty grounded.

I agree, I met Paula Newby-Frasier and Paul Huddle in HI back in 97. They were great, I asked Paula to autograph her photo from TRIATHLETE magazine of her and Paul in their garage. She got so tickled at seeing her messy garage in the magazine.
