Hunter Kemper and Peter Reid Interview
I want to see that interviewer swim a 20 minute mile :)
what could the big announcement be? He's pregnant? He's going to retire? He's going to get married? He's getting a new sponsorship? He's opening a new company? What???

Reid's been talking about how he only plans to do Kona once more. Apparently he wants to be able to go out and do crazy stuff without fear of hurting himself and letting down is sponsors.
I'd imagine he'll announce this is his last year of Pro racing...or that he's not quitting until he wins 3 more. :D

Ah yeah I listened to it again. Thought she said 20 at first. I was like hmmm not bad haha.
That interviewer is so annoying. I can't stand looking at her and the sound of her voice is like knives in my brain.
If you wish to be out front, then act as if you were behind.

She does have a nice bike though

OMG. i thought the same thing!
i actually liked her.. she was excited and enthusiastic.. ive never seen an interview with kemper or reid, but i was interested to hear what they had to say and i thought her questions werent horrible..
maybe im a little biased cause i have to listen to some mundane professors whose lectures drraaag on.. so its fun to hear someone less boring

I have to agree - at least she had done an ironman. She wasn't just some "Good Morning LA" bimbo who didn't know what she was talking about. She was very nice and allowed the athletes to name their sponsors (which is always a bonus for the athlete/sponsor relationship) as well as open up more.

I got to confess I have always had a bad impression about Peter Reid before. Maybe because I have always seen him at races environments, all focused.
But after this interview I totally changed my mind...he looks like a very nice guy!!

The San Fancisco CBS affiliate interviewed Hunter Kemper and Peter Reid in a webcast that aired earlier today, and the archived video is available on their web site. Definitely interesting, and Peter Reid hinted at a big announcement later this month.
