Bottom line is that it doesn't appear to be worth it.

This unit appears to resemble the design of the G-tech power meter that automotive enthusiasts use to measure the horsepower and other data from their cars.

Yeah, it was originally going to ship in February...and then in April...and then some manufacturing of some parts delayed them until May...and now software glitches have them delayed until who knows when. I purchased one and am on the list, but by the time the thing gets here it might be too late to sensibly train with power. Frustrating.
