So I had my 1st tri this season. I spent most of the winter playing soccer and running started ramping up the biking. I didn't swim at all, so I knew that was going to not be fun. But I got my fastest time overall ever. My 3rd slowest swim, but everything else was at least 45 seconds faster. So, I survived and the course was great, besides 4 miles of pot-holed tar and gravel road on the bike course and of course that's the part that had the headwind. Good to get the rust off and get back to racing, I'm even motivated to actually swim, which is good. Finished in 1:20 and was surprised at that.
