I hope your ridden in the rain before. Just be careful on the corners. My first ride ever in the rain, I was making a hard left and slid straight off the side off the road and over a ditch. Also becareful with your mounting and dismount.

Might wanna leave your shoes in tranistion with the soles facing up to keep the water from pooling in em. You could put a plastic bag over em, but the shoes upside down thing works, too.

Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.

Ya, TriGuy is right on - just be a little more cautious on the bike when turning or braking.

And/or make sure you have tires on your bike that work ok in the rain. I'm buying new ones right now because my crappy tires barely work when it's not raining :(

Bad weather is a time to GO! Many folks will be timid in the wet.
If you are interested in placing well..and you can handle the bike in the rain...you can do well...

I agree with all mentioned above.
Be carefull, or you will eat asphalt, but if you know how to handle the bike in the rain.. go hard, but keep it under control.
Others will probably not go too fast.

Just be carefull in the corners/turns.
If it's a double loop ( multiple loop course) you can check out where to go fast and where to just take it easy...

never rode in the rain and must say I was glad I didn't have to on sat. Though the roads WERE WET it didn't rain during the bike ride. Every other part though. Funny cause the weather report had rain over us the whole time. Little scared on the bike but tried to get over it. thanks

Bring plastic bags for transition for things you don't want to get wet, ie, your running shoes (blisters!) and if you think it will be cold, put layers in dry bags.
