Underarmor drag?

This is probably a dumb question, but will a underarmor top create stronger drag in the water as opposed to skin, neoprene, etc?

make sure it's a tight fitting - ie. heat or all season gear - and NOT their loose fit line.

I agree, most of their tops are skin tight, so it should be fine. There are fabrics that are suppose to 'glide' through the water faster, creating less drag. Some are faster than bare skin. As far as I know, UA does not market such a creation. However, I would bet that difference is marginal at best. Good luck!
