hey...

do you any of you notice that your bike frame flexes back and forth when you are riding on your trainer? is this normal? and is it going to eventually ruin my aluminum frame?

No, flame flex always happens. If you could see your frame from a close up frontal view when you are standing during a climb, you'd be surprised at what you see.

it's fine the frams are built to take cyclical loading like that, when they start to creak and flex LOTS then it's time to upgrade.
I have had mine on a trainer for about 3 years 5 times a week and it's fine.

I have heard that frames flex but I didn't think it was something perceptible. I've always wondered why everyone makes such a big deal about frame composition, and have questioned how much stiffer does a frame need to be?

I was told that wheels do the same thing...they float and warp during turns. Scary sounding, huh?
