I was just wanting to get some input as to what I should be eating and also avoiding in the couple of days before my tri? I don't drink soda's or anything with caffeine, so that's out. I'm planning on dropping most if not all of my sweets this week :( but what should I try to eat more of and also avoid?

Your eating habits really shouldn't change too much before a race. Eat what you have been eating. Don't want to introduce gastric issues.
However, the day before, usually best to limit the fiber intake. Take in easily digested carbs - more of the white flour pastas etc.
Take in plenty of water and sports drink to make sure you are well hydrated and keep your electrolytes in balance. Some say to also increase your salt intake the days leading up to a race.
