Problem with sticky on Profile Design t2+?
I have the same problem.
The adhesive backing came off the thin velcro pad so now the glue stays on the plastic arm rest but the velcro pad fell out and it doesn't have any adhesive on it anymore.
To fix this, I used some 3M spray-on adhesive on both the arm rests and the velcro pad. It's a bit messy but the soft pads hide the glue and the velcro stays put.
Does anyone make a thinner pad? Mine are fairly new and they feel too "full" and my arms sometimes roll off the pad.
Yeah, the backing sucks. Get some rubber cement or silicone adhesive to glue the velcro down.

the pads will get less spongy as you ride on your bars more. I just put my old pads on my ew t2+'s instead of the new ones that came with it.

How is the ride with the "s" bends, I'm trying to decide if I should get a pair or not. I'm doing HIM and some OLY's with my eye on an Ironman at the end of the season. Any thoughts?
Get a pair. They're lighter, lower, and more comfortable when set up properly.

The T2's are awesome. I suggest you try them out. By the way, the Cobra's (carbon t2's) are only 20 gras lighter than the alloy ones so unless you are infactuated with the look of carbon, there is no need to get them.
people complain of their weight but I went from aerolites (not lite at all, don't know why they call them that?) to the T2's and it made a world of a difference, a lot lighter, lower (more aero), and mucho comfortable.

Not to mention they are $100 more! For only 20 grams, well to each his own I guess.

I love my T2+. I've never tried the other type of aerobars, but I love the s-bend on these. Very comfortable for me.
I agree about the velco though. I'm afraid to take off my pads because I'm pretty sure the whole velcro backing is going to come off with them when I do.

Yeah, well, the Cobras have EYES!
Anyway, the way we solve that problem in the shop is just by lightly sanding the surface of the armrests, then cleaning with the little included alcohol pad and then sticking on the velcro after the rests dry.
It's not 100% immediately, but ride on them for a little while like that and they'll stick just fine.
Then again, I've NEVER seen aerobar pad velcro hold up 100%... although I'm sure it does happen, it's just one of those things that isn't yet designed very well anywhere.

I just got a pair of PD T2+ and I am having some trouble getting the velcro to stick to the plastic arm rest part. Anybody else having trouble with subpar adhesive?
