Delavan Lake Triathlon
Hey, I'm the defending champion of the Delavan Lake Triathlon Supersprint. :)
Originally, I was thinking of doing my first Olympic distance triathlon there on June 3, but I haven't even been in the water since September, and my running distance is lagging behind, so I'll probably do the Supersprint again. My first Olympic might be at Bigfoot; or crazy as it might be, at the USAT Age Group Nationals in July.

Well, you gotta defend your championship! :D
I'm doing the Oly as a C race. I have low expectations b/c (a) the water is going to be pretty freaking cold (b) I'm going to try to focus on not hammering the bike and (c) I'm still getting back into running shape following a foot injury.
I did ride the Oly bike course a few weeks ago. It's not too bad -- roads were in decent shape, no significant hills to speak of, and only one or two really tricky corners.
so besides being frustrated with the issues with the bike and the results of the delavan lake triathlon on 6/3, i have developed a rash from swimming in that disgusting lake! has anyone else noticed anything like this?
I had a little rash on my neck as well. I just posted a race report on my experience here: http://www.trifuel.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5758

Is anyone doing this race on 6/3? If so, what distance and how is the training going?
