better wheels can go a long way, but a disc is a disc! same exact advantage advantage that anyother disc would give you...minus the hubs and lightness.
so that is a 'yay' for covers?
I love'em. Got them from Rich and posted here in my blog the result of use. Good and worth the coin.

sweet man...thanks for the input...i think i will get some.
It's all the benefit of a disk minus the coolness of the "whoosh, whoosh" that you get from a real disk. If you tight for cash, go with the covers.
one other question.
on the wheelbuilder.com picture of the covers it looks like the disk only goes up to the profiled section of the rim...shouldn't it go all the way up to the braking surface?

there is no way to fasten it to the wheel if it covers the rim. It is attached via fasteners to the spokes and it is flush with the rim at that point.
i suppose that makes sense.

has anyone used these? is it worth it on crappy wheels?
i have a pair of stock alex alx220s on my felt s32...do you think it is worth spending the 100 bucks? or should i put that toward a better set of wheels?
