What's your training split look like?

I am planning on building up to 3 days swimming, 3 days biking, and 3 days running, split over 6 days of the week.

However, I was thinking does anyone do double workouts 6 days per week? Like 5 biking workouts, 4 running workouts, and 3 swimming workouts per week split over 6 days?

That changes all of the time - depending on where you are in your training plan -

Over the next month my training plan is as follows:
Wk 1: S: 4, B: 3, R: 5, plus core/strength. This is over 7 days.
Wk 2: S: 5, B: 3, R: 5, plus core/strength. This is over 7 days.
Wk 3: S: 5, B: 3, R: 5, plus core/strength. This is over 7 days.
Wk 4: S: 3, B: 2, R: 4, plus core/strength. This is over 5 days
(Wk 4 is recovery - Off day at start and end of week 4 - Doing race simulations for each disipline).

Mine is adjusted based on the time of year but now it is usually as follows:

M - bike 2x, brick (active rest day)
T - bike 2x, brick
W - bike 2x, swim and run
H - bike 2x, brick
F - bike 2x, swim long (active rest day)
S - bike (long), brick
Su - long run, swim

Repeat. I try and do >15hrs./week training right now.

M: Swim, lift, run (if no brick on Tu)
Tu: Bike quality, brick run (run only when about 8 wks. out from A race)
W: Swim, tempo run
Th: Long run, abs/core
F: Swim, run
Sa: Longest bike, brick run
Su: Long Bike 2, optional recovery swim

I wouldn't be able to do this if I didn't focus on getting plenty of sleep (8+ hours per night), regular massage, stretching, great nutrition.

Mon: Run 90', Swim 30'
Tue: Swim 90', Run 30'
Wed: Bike Tacx trainer 90'
Thurs: Run 90' interval
Fri: REST or recovery training Bike/Run
Sat: Run 90', Swim 90'
Sun: Brick: Bike 180'-240'
Run: 30'

I try to get 8+ hours sleep ( and usually succeed 75% of the time)
So Swim 3x, Bike 2x, Run 4-5x

I'm stepping it up, I want to qualify in Antwerp 70.3
in my age group 25-29 for Clearwater Florida 70.3

Monday: Lift or Off
Tuesday: Run and swim
Wednesday: Bike Long usually with a T-run
Thursday: Swim and run and lift
Friday: bike
Saturday: Long bike maybe with a T-run unless I'm trashed.
Sunday: Long run or a race.Sometimes a long race!

I leave my schedule fluid because life happens and I'm not a rigid schedule guy anyway.
I eat what I want and sleep 8 to 10 every night. I make sure I get my daily beer.
This all changes in 21 school days...then I have two and a half months off.

BBB,

Sounds good to me.
I'm on my bike, twice a day, every day - weather permitting.
I've changed my commuting routine (oops, wrong thread!) --- 5 miles minimum, but usually 10 - 15 miles one way, and 20 to 50 miles the other (all "country" roads). Includes hill repeats on a couple of the shorter rides, and at least one "out of the saddle" longer tempo ride through rolling terrain.

Run --- before or after several rides per week. 1 to 3 miles --- I know I should run farther for optimum triathlon training, but hey, I'd rather be on my bike.

Swimming --- yeah, well; the pool isn't convenient this year, so maybe when the weather warms up....
